KAI + Zoom — Setup Guide
What the integration does
KAI by Kaizen lets a team leader connect their own Zoom account so they can create and run events — webinars, masterclasses, and internal team meetings — directly from KAI. When prospects complete a leader’s funnel they are registered for the event automatically and each receives a personal join link, and after the event Zoom’s attendance report is synced back into the leader’s KAI reports. KAI only ever accesses the connected leader’s own Zoom account, and never accesses meeting recordings or chat content.
Adding the app / Connecting Zoom
To connect your Zoom account to KAI:
- Go to kaisystem.ai and sign in as a team leader.
- Open Funnel Settings (the ⚙️ gear).
- Find the Zoom card and click “Connect Zoom.”
- You are redirected to Zoom — review and approve the requested permissions on Zoom’s consent screen.
- After you approve, you are returned to KAI and the Zoom card shows “Connected.” KAI can now create events on your Zoom account.
Using it
Once Zoom is connected, from KAI web or the KAI mobile app you can:
- Create events of each type — a Webinar or Masterclass (hosted as a Zoom Meeting, or as a Zoom Webinar when your account has a webinar license) or an internal Team meeting. KAI creates the matching object on your connected Zoom account.
- Copy the Zoom join link from the event details screen and share your funnel.
- Prospects who complete your funnel’s qualification chat and reserve a seat are registered on the Zoom meeting/webinar automatically, and each one receives a personal join link.
- After each event, attendance is synced from Zoom back into KAI — the event details Stats show registered and attended counts.
Removing the app / Disconnecting
You can remove KAI’s access to your Zoom account in either of two ways:
- From KAI: open Funnel Settings → Zoom → “Disconnect.”
- From Zoom: go to zoom.us → App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps → “KAI by Kaizen” → Remove.
- Disconnecting immediately revokes KAI’s access to your Zoom account. You can also request deletion of the Zoom data KAI has stored — see the “Your Rights” section of our Privacy Policy (/privacy).
Data & privacy
KAI accesses only the connected leader’s own Zoom account and stores only meeting IDs, join URLs, registrant records, and attendance results — never recordings or chat content. Disconnecting revokes KAI’s access, and your Zoom data is deleted when you disconnect or delete your KAI account. See our Privacy Policy at /privacy (“Zoom Integration” and “Your Rights”).
Troubleshooting
- Changed your Zoom password, or events stopped creating? Disconnect and reconnect Zoom from Funnel Settings → Zoom to refresh the connection.
- If “Connect Zoom” does not complete, make sure you approved every permission on Zoom’s consent screen, then try again.
